A dog behavior specialist names six difficult-to-train breeds.

There is no universal method for training a puppy, and certain breeds are more challenging than others.

All dog breeds are wired differently, according to Lorna Winter, dog trainer and co-founder of puppy training app Zigzag.

Training some dogs may entail channeling your "inner zen master."

Winter noted that there are six breeds in particular that may present unique training issues.

Like save and share

Although no type of dog is intrinsically undesirable, raising a puppy of a certain breed does call for a special set of skills and resources.

Beagles: Beagles are well-known for being excellent family dogs and kid friends.

Winter remarked, "This breed has the nose of a super-detective, and it's in their DNA to go on adventures in search of scents."
