Former first-round pick joins Patriots' 53-man roster

New England Patriots added a wide receiver. The Patriots signed Jalen Reagor, a 2020 NFL draft first-round pick from the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Patriots waived Malik Cunningham, who has since rejoined the practice squad.Reagor's first-round TCU choice status had high expectations

Reagor was taken one round before of Justin Jefferson, a top NFL receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, in Philadelphia, but he failed to deliver.

Reagor's Philadelphia time is comparable to N'Keal Harry's New England time. Reagor had 64 receptions for 695 yards and three scores in 28 Philadelphia games

After the 2021 season, Reagor was traded to the Minnesota Vikings due to his inability to catch and go open.
